Editorial Standards

FACTHARBOUR NEWS aims to publish journalism that is accurate, fair, transparent and useful.

Accuracy

We verify material facts where reasonably possible and seek confirmation before publishing serious allegations.

Attribution

Information obtained from other publications, official statements, documents, interviews or public sources should be attributed appropriately. We do not present another publisher’s reporting as our own original reporting.

Corrections

Material errors will be corrected or clarified when identified. Readers can report errors to info@facthabournews.com.

Images

We seek to use images we own, have permission to use, are licensed for use, or are otherwise lawfully available. We avoid unnecessarily graphic imagery.

Opinion and Sponsored Content

Opinion, analysis and sponsored material should be distinguishable from straight news reporting.
