Temi Nkem has emerged as the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 11, taking the crown at the end of the reality show’s “Show Ya Sef” edition.

Nkem was announced as the winner during the live grand finale on Sunday, October 4, 2026, after 70 days of competition, nominations, tasks, evictions and several twists involving the 24 housemates who entered the competition. Africa Magic officially confirmed her victory, with Aikou finishing as the first runner-up.

The final voting results showed that Nkem received 25.87 per cent of the total votes cast by viewers in Nigeria and across Africa. Aikou followed with 23.68 per cent, while Sheba finished third with 9.80 per cent of the votes.

Nkem’s victory makes her the fifth female winner in Big Brother Naija history, adding her name to the list of women who have previously claimed the reality show’s top prize.

The new BBNaija champion will receive a prize package valued at ₦160 million. The package includes ₦90 million in cash, a brand-new SUV and other sponsored prizes. The cash component was reduced from the original ₦100 million after ₦10 million was allocated to the season’s Most Influential Player of the Week, popularly known as MIPOW.

Aikou finished as the first runner-up, while Sheba took the second runner-up position after surviving the final stages of the competition.

The finale saw several finalists leave the competition before the final three were established. Barry, Oyin, Ricky, Flora, Tram and Bluethopia were among those evicted during the concluding stage of the show, leaving Nkem, Aikou and Sheba to battle for the top positions.

Nkem’s journey through the house attracted considerable attention during the season, with her outspoken personality and involvement in different house dynamics making her one of the notable contestants of the “Show Ya Sef” edition.

The season began on July 26 with 24 housemates and ran for 70 days. Viewers followed the contestants through weekly tasks, Head of House competitions, nominations, evictions and a series of twists designed to alter the dynamics of the game.

According to reports on the season, the competition also featured the Gambit play and changes to Head of House veto powers. The edition recorded two disqualifications and one voluntary exit, making it the first BBNaija season in which all three developments occurred during the same edition.

The finale was hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and featured live entertainment as the remaining contestants waited to discover their final positions.

With Nkem’s announcement as winner, the “Show Ya Sef” edition has officially come to an end, bringing another season of Big Brother Naija to a close.

Her 25.87 per cent vote share was enough to place her ahead of Aikou, who came within just over two percentage points of the winning total. The final results therefore put Nkem at the top of a closely contested race for the Season 11 crown.

The victory marks a major milestone in Nkem’s entertainment journey and gives her the opportunity to build on the visibility generated during her 70-day stay in the Big Brother house.

Big Brother Naija continues to attract audiences across Nigeria and other African countries, with former contestants frequently going on to pursue careers in entertainment, media, fashion, music and other areas of the creative industry.

For Season 11, however, the spotlight now belongs to Temi Nkem, who has officially become the latest champion of one of Africa’s most prominent reality television franchises.
