Isiala Ngwa North Labour Party Boils: Ginger Onwusibe, Caleb Ajagba fights dirty as NDC candidate, Chikezie Ugorji ceases the moment

All is not well with the Isiala Ngwa North chapter of the ruling Labour Party in Abia state as the Leaders have renewed their battle of supremacy over the control of the party structure.

It’s no longer news that the Member, representing Isiala Ngwa North and South, in the National Assembly and the Chief of staff to Governor Alex Otti, Pastor Calleb Ajagba are sworn enemies, a situation that has lasted over the past 3 years.

They are said to be fighting future political war. While some allege Hon.Ginger Onwisibe is eyeing the 2031 Governorship race, another school of thought is of the opinion that, the Chief of staff to the Governor, Dr. Ajagba is positioning himself as an annoited Deputy Governor, come 2031 if Alex Otti succeeds in his reelection bid, which is now looking impossible, going by the feelers from Abuja.

Recall that during the defection of some PDP members from Isiala Ngwa North LGA, led by Dr. GOC Nnaji at Nbawsi central school, both Hon. Ginger Onwusibe and the member, representing Isiala Ngwa North state constituency, Hon. Ugochukwu Iheonunekwu; Ochake” were excluded from the reception of the defectors. Even their photographs were not added to the flex banner used for the occasion, attended the Gov. Alex Otti.

Insiders alleged the two law ‘makers arrived, the first thing they noticed was that their pictures were not captured in all the flex banners, a situation they sat inside the vehicle for almost one hour. When confronted, the Secretary to the Local Government Mayor, Mr. Chisom Nwogbe, lied to the two law makers, that it was printers error.

The cat and dog relationship has again, degenerated into -a new battle front as the two waring camps, are battling who amongst them will produce the Labour Party Stakeholders Chairman for Nsulu Area.

While Hon. Ginger Onwusibe’s camp had already announced Hon. Chinwe Ochulor, a former Executive Chairman, Isiala Ngwa North, the Chief of staff to Gov. Alex Otti, Dr. Caleb Ajagba also announced Chief Chris Ugwumadu, a business man, a new party entrant as the Chairman.

There is a popular saying, when two brothers are fighting, a stranger takes what belongs to them.

The news filtering from Isiala Ngwa North now is that, the failure of Labour Party is near as the people have now realigned to support NDC Candidate, Chief Chikezie Joseph Ugorji, an Nsulu son. Feelers has it that some aggrieved members of the Labour Party, held a secret meeting at Nbawsi area with a political structure, called IJIRIJI NDU MOVEMENT and agreed to support Chief Chikezie Joseph Ugorji.
