APC Confident of Meeting INEC July 11 Deadline for 2027 Candidates’ Submission The APC says it is making steady progress in submitting the details of its presidential and National Assembly candidates ahead of INEC’s July 11 deadline.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed confidence that it will meet the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)’s July 11 deadline for the submission of its presidential and National Assembly candidates for the 2027 general elections.

A senior member of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC), who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly on the matter, said the submission process was progressing as planned.

According to the party official, the upload of details for APC National Assembly candidates is already at an advanced stage, while the information relating to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the party’s vice-presidential candidate is expected to be uploaded before the middle of the week.

“We are progressing smoothly with the uploading of the details of our National Assembly candidates,” the source said.

The development comes as political parties continue preparations to comply with INEC’s timetable for the 2027 general elections. The electoral commission had directed political parties to submit the particulars of their candidates within the stipulated deadline.

The APC has maintained that it is working to complete the process within the timeframe set by the electoral body.

Observers are expected to monitor the submission process closely as the July 11 deadline approaches.
